Dawan (다완) refers to a tea bowl traditionally used in ceremonies and come in many different styles depending on the region/country you are in and also artists personal aesthetics. This dawan in particular stems from my time in Korea where I fell in love with buncheong (분청), a white slip layered over top of a dark iron rich clay body.
